Church Leadership

• Launched a church plant in Mitcham, Surrey, whilst working full-time in Sales

• Lead Elim Wimbledon for 14 years during which time we moved from the small gospel hall to a school hall and finally into our £1.5 new building.

• Lead Dewsbury Elim Church for 4 ½ years where we saw 45 baptisms, launched a Romainan speaking congregation and managed a replacement roof project on the Grade II listed building.

• Currently I serve as the Community Outreach Coordinator at Halifax Elim Church.

• Served as Leader or Co-leader in the local “churches together” groups in London, Surrey and Yorkshire.

• Led several joint churches missions, as well as managing the response team for J.John’s Just 10 mission to Clapham, London.

• Advised Churches on disability inclusion as a Dyslexic learner myself and as a representative of Torch Trust’s Sight Loss Friendly church Scheme.

• Church Liaison & Online Programme Manager for YourNeighbour.org, a national church response to the Pandemic.

• Outreach Developer at Halifax Elim Church

• Missional Toolkit Trainer with Share Jesus International  

Community Leadership

• Founded Wimbledon Foodbank, one of the first wave of Trussell Trust Foodbanks

• Co Founder of Dewsbury Street Angels, the country's first day time Street Angels project.

• Established a TLG (transforming Lives for Good) Early Intervention Scheme and a Boxes of Hope project

• Trustee of London’s largest YMCA group, with a specific remit to help strengthen the Christian element and ethos

• Helped found Merton 316, a group of churches in South West London that worked together to build community action projects. These included a CAP centre, job club, food bank, Street Pastors, winter night shelter, Christmas lunch on Jesus, and a Crisis pregnancy centre.
